Elevating outdoor living: How Koper Outdoor Furniture and Living Spaces blends luxury, functionality, personalized design

Koper Outdoor Furniture and Living Spaces brings outdoor luxury to life with a retail store in Prosper and a designer’s warehouse in Celina. Backed by a headquarters, commercial showroom and fabrication center in Carrollton, the company combines high-quality craftsmanship with top-tier customer service to ensure every product meets the highest standards.

A curated approach to quality

“We’re particular about every line and every piece that we select [to carry],” said Bridget Hefty, outdoor living design consultant and retail manager. “We have a discerning taste.”

This selective approach guarantees that customers receive only the best products. One standout offering is their pergola line, which sets itself apart from competitors by providing complete waterproofing—an essential feature for durability and long-term functionality.

Commitment to exceptional service

Beyond offering premium products, Koper takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. They attribute this commitment to their manufacturers, who have emphasized the importance of ongoing communication—even after a project is complete—to ensure customer satisfaction and lasting quality.

“We strive for excellent service. We’re quick to return calls and emails and to take action,” Hefty said.

This proactive approach ensures that customers feel valued and supported throughout their experience.

Tailored designs for every client

A recent project showcases Koper’s ability to balance luxury with functionality. The team transformed a 2,500-square-foot patio into an inviting, entertainment-ready space. The client, who frequently hosts gatherings, requested ample seating and custom solutions to fit their needs.

“We were able to get a collection with a dining table that extends to 10 feet,” Hefty said. “Then we selected the right dining chairs to make sure that it can seat [10 people].”

Customization was key for this project. For a tall client who found standard seating uncomfortable, Koper designed custom back seat cushions to enhance comfort. They also added another dining area by the customers’ pool, which required extensive color coordination.

“The dining area by their pool [included] chairs, a table, rugs, cushions and custom accent pillows in the exact sizes they wanted,” owner Glen Kuopus said. “It was an extensive project. We then coordinated the collection so they didn’t have all powder coated aluminum [furniture].”

To complete the space, Koper incorporated UV-rated plants and carefully chosen planters, ensuring both beauty and durability in the outdoor environment.

Expanding selection with a warehouse showroom

Customers can explore a vast selection of outdoor furniture at Koper’s warehouse showroom in Celina, which features an overstock collection ranging from new and luxurious to scratch-and-dent pieces. Koper also hosts monthly warehouse sales, and customers can schedule an appointment by calling or texting 972-953-7670.

Designing with purpose

Balancing aesthetics and functionality is at the heart of Koper’s design philosophy. Hefty emphasized the importance of understanding a client’s lifestyle before making recommendations.

“One of the first things that I ask people if they have an expansive outdoor space is, ‘How do you intend to use this space,’” Hefty said. “[Their answer] determines what we suggest for shade options and pergolas; it determines everything.”

With a focus on quality craftsmanship, personalized service and innovative design, Koper Outdoor Furniture and Living Spaces continues to set the standard for outdoor living, creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
